giving thanks.

“they broke bread in their homes
and ate together with glad and
sincere hearts.”  Acts 2:46

i’m ever so grateful for oh so many
things .. true blessings in the plenty
and in the few. sometimes what we
see as the littlest is actually the greatest.
truth be told.

gathering with loved ones for
thanksgiving day and the days hedging
that day. there will be a feast as five
cooks and bakers will be busy prepping,
stirring, testing, ensuring all is in order
in taste and presentation. A veritable
explosion of groceries! yUm.

one dessert we’re sharing is a
cranberry pie. here’s a peek at the
beginning...

i’ll return come early december
and share life’s tidbits and plans for
the most wonderful time of the year.
until then, here’s a picture of a morning
visitor two days back. I was well
protected behind a strong barrier especially
since “rut” season is underway.
haven’t named this guy yet. suggestions?

May your thanksgiving day be filled
with kindness for others
and sincere gratitude.

blessings....

p.s.
bloggie is having hiccups.
as such, if this post appears
a bit wonky ... it’s bloggie.
my apologies.

  7. That pie looks goood! How wonderful to have wildlife to enjoy so close up. Sounds like you're enjoying your new home. Even though we celebrate Thanksgiving in October here in Canada, it's always good to take time to be thankful.
