a bit of thinking:
i'm hoping today finds you well-rested & refreshed
with the offering of this day being a gift
from the Almighty.
the fact you're awake is evidence of his gracious
consideration that today is a day worth living
in full light of his glory.
that's how i see it...what i know to be true.
and since his gift is evident,
treating it in a bespoke manner is a gift
to him in return.
aside from the routine of the day
which rarely alters when it comes
to home keeping, what is it that can
be made that much more special in an allotted time?
is there something even within home keeping
which can offer unexpected joy...
to God, to a family member, to yourself?
worthy of consideration.

a bit of gastronomy:
a recent breakfast was extra special pleasing
to assemble, to view, and to consume..
like a banquet in a bowl,
such a treat.
the ingredients are as follows:
fresh made plain yogurt
fresh made cereal
wheat bran
banana
bee pollen
so simple yet so delectable
a bit of encouragement:
"Imitate those who through faith and patience
inherit what has been promised."
{Hebrews 6:12}
"The biblical heroes of faith call to us from the heights they have won, encouraging us that what man once did, man can do again. They remind us not only of the necessity of faith but also of the patience required for faith's work to be perfected. May we fear attempting to remove ourselves from the hands of our heavenly Guide or missing even one lesson of His loving discipline due to our discouragement or doubt."
