to consider. deeply.

* for those who have experienced
tremendously grievous life interludes ..
* for those who are presently
experiencing tremendously grievous life interludes ..
* for those who will in future
experience tremendously grievous life interludes ..

:with a quiet, willing, humble heart - consider this:

I've been pressing into the Lord about a concern I've had for several weeks now. Then one day his Spirit asked me,

'Are you willing to suffer in this discomfort
if I use it to encourage someone else?'

Oh beloved, how we strive and struggle when God doesn't act on the time frame we think he should. We totally miss, that in the struggle we tend to draw near to Him. We begin to realize we can't even take our next breath without him. So we lean in.

  4. Amen, dear sister! Presently in the "middle" and know that only God knows what is next and how others might be encouraged and come to saving grace....it's tough, but He is in control and doing it all with love for us..He is the one that gives the grace to make it through. Thank you, sally

  5. When God would send Israel into captivity, it was always with an eye to restoration. They’d suffer and cry out to Him and turn to Him again.

We don’t like to hurt but God will use it for us to draw near.

  7. I live each day with a hole in my heart. So bruised I can barely admit or share. Thank you for reminding me that not only am I not alone, but might help others just by letting them know they aren’t alone either. Thank you Sherry.

  8. I think if I couldn't use what I have suffered, it would not have any sense in it. Except, of course, to mold us into being more like Him.
