greens & other novelties.

much has transpired since september ...
which is the last time i blogged
on my *old* blog which is not *this* blog.
it was time for a change.
and much if not most but certainly not all,
will be shared a bit here and there.
or not entirely any or all.

i needed time away
from elements of social
media .. time to examine
my lilliputian place
in relation to an overall
picture in my noggin,
which hasn't entirely been
concluded but i'm
running with it.
it'll kinda be like
running with scissors
so stick around as it may prove
to be entertaining especially
given the fact i don't run . wink.

how's that for a
clear as mud explanation as
to my whereabouts in the blogosphere
and where i may take this blog?!

*          *          *

that said .................... on to the greens.

kale, super greens, shredded carrot,
heirloom tomatoes, paper thin red onion,
and partially ground pistachios
..... with a balsamic drizzle.

pretty as a picture. yUmmy too.
the fact it's healthy is a perk.

  2. Just watched Christopher Robin with my family on Netflix. My ears perked up when a character said, that's "coddiwomple." I think that's what he said. And I thought of you. It is a gentle movie, so sweet, so funny. Have you seen it? . . .So happy to be here. Missed you.

  4. The salad looks incredible! And you should know EVERYTIME I am explaining something to an audience I say the phrase "clear as mud" solely because of your tutelage back in high school! I think of you everytime I say it!
I believe God will use your writings for an incredible purpose! Thank you for being willing to walk in a manner worthy of Glorifying His name!

I love you style and so glad it's back.

Your salad reminded me of the documentary video, "Forks Over Knives". If you haven't seen it, YouTube it and put your seat belt on, cause you will go for a wild ride.

  10. A delightful surprise this morning to see in my box your coddiwomple life! I love this word and the idea of traveling forward in this life with purpose and meaning along with no expectations only that He is with us, guiding us, loving us.. something the Lord has been working in my heart, as well. Great message in the movie of Christopher Robin. I just watched it on the flight back from the UK. 😁
Much love and delight to you and C this holy weekend.

  12. Sherry, I love this new blog of yours, and I'm so glad you're blogging again. I've been looking through all the posts on Coddiwomplelife (what a great title!) and I'm struck, once again, by your writing skills (you always give me something to think about), as well as your cooking skills (gosh, when can I come for dinner?). Living out this life in Christ is more delightful with you in the world. So glad He brought you into my life. I so enjoy your perspective on life in Him. Hugs and love, Nancy
