down the hall at Christmastime.

around the corner and down the hall (which is quite lengthy) the hubs secured a simple board to which we attached vintage dresser knobs from my deep stash. old family photos in frames are often displayed but for Christmastime i changed it out - using a magnolia wreath and two old cart ends i found on the side of a river road in wisconsin. you'll notice the cart ends have clothespins clipped to the rungs. the plan is to fasten Christmas cards and enjoy the sentiments from folks far away as we take time to reflect on our hallway journey to and fro.

above the board, the wreath,  & the cart ends
is a good size enlarged presentation of
our daughter's sketch from long ago.
at that time she entitled it
.. Jesus' eyes ..
noting closely the fire in his eyes.

".. and his eyes were as a flame of fire .."
Revelation 1.14

i scanned and saved this sketch to my computer
all those years ago and when we made the move
i knew exactly where i wanted the depiction featured.

"For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro
throughout the whole earth,
to show Himself strong on behalf
of those whose heart is loyal to Him."
2 Chronicles 16.9

  4. I love what you've done. I, too, pray for your daughter - praying that she will see Jesus' eyes of love and compassion for her.
