apologies for my time away ..
while i don't adhere to obligatory blogging i do thank you for reaching out to check on me, ensuring i'm hunky dory in this crazy world.
but if one needs to be away from the blog world or computer to tend to life and live that life in full, then so be it!
sometimes the very best thing to do is ::: unplug!
in the last month or so a multitude of happenings have happened
including lovely visits by family and friends to our mountain home,
completing the restoration of "scout" our 55 boles aero camper,
packing up, reaching for a few more things (ahem) to squirrel away
in our little home on wheels, for the next month.
and other things but those are the biggies. my beautiful mother
spent two weeks with us .. she loved the dear deer visits and rides
in the mountains including a lengthy trip in the jeep with the hubs.
we were hoping to get her into the kayak but
alas she was unwilling - even if we spotted her on each side.
the smoke was thick so it wouldn't have made for an enjoyable
glide in the wet stuff anyway. then the forests were closed.
and that was the end of that. we stayed indoors. a LOT.
i haven't time to chat. i DO apologize for that, dear friends.
the trails are calling so rocky the jeep and scout the camper
are ready to set off for upwards of a month, heading for
the state i was born then who knows?! throwing caution to
the wind we're on our way!
love and hugs,
sherry & the hubs
Have a wonderful trip into the wild beyond! Can't wait to see where you land.

Bon Voyage, dear friend. God speed and prayers for safety, rest and incredible adventures beyond what you can imagine. How I wish we were doing the same but, alas, hunting season has descended upon us once again and that's where my sweetheart's focus is (as it should be). Can't wait to hear about your travels and adventures one of these days.

I feel the same way about not blogging for awhile. You said it best, "Sometimes the very best thing to do is ::: unplug!"
ReplyDeleteDarling camper....go have fun and relax, meet people, sleep well, see God's wonderful creations. Go unplug!
