salad and a view.

because good groceries are worthy of a post.

arugula, tomato, feta, pistachios, balsamic vinaigrette and Black Forest Rye bread from an amazing bakery local to where we’ve stayed two nights - another Harvest Host location. had to drive 25 minutes to find arugula. worth the drive. it was yUm. 🍂🍁🍂

here. & there.

time .. at times .. has a way of slipping

like pearls from a string. and rather than

share tidbits of the ‘lastermonths’ I’ll

simply share a recent tidbit

simpler that way.  I suppose.

a little trip culminating in visits

here and there, sweet time spent,

memories squirreled away

always with longing for more.

using our harvest hosts membership,

we’ve enjoyed overnights on farms,

ranches and museums. we endured

a weather deluge, a sketchy campground,

(vEry) talkative locals, delicious meals

from our trailer’s wee kitchen, not so

delicious meals in restaurants, service station

coffee midday, and a cinnamon roll big as

a dinner plate from an Amish bakery.

we’ve miles to go before we rest….. 🍁
